Corsair announced a new gaming monitor today called the Xeneon 32QHD165.

Representing the company’s first foray into the gaming monitor space, Corsair’s Xeneon 32QHD165 is a 32-inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS display with Quantum Dot technology that supports refresh rates of up to 165 Hz and variable refresh rate technologies such as AMD FreeSync Premium (certified) and NVIDIA G-SYNC (compatible). The panel also carries VESA’s DisplayHDR 400 certification and features 100 percent sRGB, 100 percent Adobe RGB, and 98 percent DCI-P3 color coverage.

This is not an HDMI 2.1 monitor, however. Connectivity comprises 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, and 1x Type-C DP Alt-Mode.

I'm sorry I'll stick with my <400 dollar 1 year ago Acer 1440p HDR400 monitor. WTF? I guess color accuracy? And I only have 120hz refresh... woe is me...

It's really nothing special.

From what I have seen review wise you are correct.
Specification wise, it breaks absolutely no new ground. HDR400 is pretty much no HDR at all, so that's useless. There are also tons of 2560x1440 165Hz screens out there with FreeSync and G-Sync compatible support. Again, nothing special.

This is a "me too" monitor.
Well now that Corsair is publicly traded - yeah, they are going to flood every corner of the niche gaming market they can. And most of it is just going to be third party with a Corsair badge from some random OEM, marked up 20% for the logo.

My only surprise is this doesn't have RGB that integrates directly into iCUE.

I think it does according to the live stream... maybe?
