Cracked Version of Resident Evil Village Performs Better Than the Original, Fixing Stuttering Issues

Capcom’s latest Resident Evil installment, Resident Evil Village, has been a generally well-received game, but it does reportedly suffer from a few annoying performance issues such as stuttering when the player kills zombies. According to users who have downloaded and tested a cracked version of the game that was recently released by a group by the name of EMPRESS, Resident Evil Village’s pirated version does not exhibit any of those aforementioned stuttering issues present in the legitimate release and runs much more smoothly. The implication is that Resident Evil Village is another title whose performance has been bogged down by DRM. Perhaps Capcom will remove Resident Evil Village’s DRM sooner rather than later.
