Current gen intel CPUs unable to hit full pcie gen 5 speeds for storage....

This is kind of huge in my mind. Though in day to day probably a non issue.

Intel Arrow Lake processors bottleneck PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs by 16%, limiting peak speeds to 12GB/s instead of 14GB/s

Thankfully, the issue does not impact PCIe M.2 add-in cards

Summary is arrow lake z890 motherboards with arrow lake CPUs have latency capping gen 5 SSD performance to 12ish gb a second as opposed to 14.

Good news is no need to buy the faster drives!!! Save money.
