A modder by the name of romulus_is_here has data mined CD PROJEKT RED’s latest Cyberpunk 2077 update and discovered that the hotfix contains quite a bit more than just simple bug fixes and gameplay optimizations. As explained by Eurogamer (who was able to reach out to romulus for more information), Hotfix 1.21 includes numerous references to additional story quests that aren’t part of the original game, such as a rescue mission against scavengers in a new location dubbed Newcomers Haven. The naming scheme and amount of newly uncovered files (over 200) would suggest that Cyberpunk 2077’s first DLC will be a large, story-heavy one that comprises “street stories”—a term that CD PROJEKT RED...
