DDR5 memory kits for gamers have begun surfacing at major retailers. They include Newegg, which started selling GeIL’s Polaris RGB SYNC 32GB (2 x 16 GB) 288-Pin DDR5 SDRAM DDR5 4800 (PC5 38400) kit yesterday. Featuring a timing of 40-40-40-77 and CAS latency of 40, the memory is recommended for use on Intel’s Alder Lake, one of the first mainstream desktop platforms to support DDR5.
