Diamond Multimedia is back in the game following a years-long hiatus from the graphics card business.



As spotted by VideoCardz, Diamond Multimedia’s official website has been updated with a listing for a Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, which seems to suggest that the company is willing to try its hand at profiting from GPUs again. Diamond Multimedia hasn’t released a new graphics card since its Radeon RX 580 from 2017.

Diamond is still around? Last product I got from them was a Viper Riva TNT2.


Come to think of it, I may still have it in storage. I can't wait to get rid of the storeroom. Oh the retro builds that are in there waiting to see light again....

I had a diamond 290x I got from fry's. Was a real boring card. Ugly. But ran fine.

Edit: the price on this is ridiculous however.

That's why they are coming out of the woodwork. Profit margins are through the roof. Everyone wants in.
