DICE has relayed the disappointing news that Battlefield 2042 will no longer be launching on its originally planned release date of October 22, 2021. Instead, the multiplayer-only FPS will now be dropping nearly a month later on November 19, 2021.
Battlefield 2042’s new release date was shared by Oskar Gabrielson, DICE’s general manager, who tweeted a statement on Twitter this afternoon explaining why the developer had decided to delay the game.
