Disney Confirms Mandalorian Spin-Off Series, “The Book of Boba Fett”

The title card at the end of The Mandalorian’s season two finale has generated plenty of speculation. Is “The Book of Boba Fett” referring to season three of The Mandalorian, or is it a spin-off series revolving around the legendary bounty hunter?



In a tweet sent out this morning, Disney confirmed that it’s definitely the latter. The Book of Boba Fett is a “new original series” that will bring back Temuera Morrison in the titular role, as well as Ming-Na Wen’s part-cyborg assassin character Fennec Shand.



Disney clarified that the show will be set within the timeline of The Mandalorian. This isn’t too surprising, as doing so might allow Din Djarin...
