Disney Delays Avatar 2, New Star Wars Trilogy Films by a Year

Does James Cameron’s Avatar sequel have a chance to reclaim the box office crown from Marvel’s almighty Avengers: Endgame? Maybe, but we’re going to have to wait a lot longer to find out. Thanks to COVID-19, Disney has decided to delay the long-gestating film and its two sequels – Avatar 3 and Avatar 4 (talk about franchise confidence!) – for an entire year. We’re not sure how to say “bummer” in Na’vi, but that’s probably what most Avatar fans are thinking right now.
