EA is holding a public, two-week technical trial for Project Atlas, its streaming gaming service. Interested parties can sign up now to experience how well games stream through the company's cloud technology.
The goal is to see how well its servers can adjust to real-world issues such as unstable bandwidth and network strength. A variety of games (FIFA 19, Need for Speed Rivals, Titanfall 2, Unravel) will also be tested to see how servers handle different genres.
Cloud gaming is coming. It’s no longer a question of if, but when. It’s still really early days but we’re excited to take this next step in our learning, and it’s great to be able to do it with some of you in our community. This is about enhancing the quality of our games and services for a cloud powered future.
