EA Introduces Logo and Branding for Its FIFA Replacement, EA SPORTS FC

EA has introduced EA SPORTS FC, its new football brand and platform that was implemented following EA Sports and FIFA's failure to reach an agreement over licensing fees for the use of the FIFA name. According to a press release, the EA SPORTS FC brand is set to debut in more than 100 matches across global football beginning tomorrow, and fans can sign up today to learn more about the new platform, with detailed product information coming in July. FIFA 23, which launched in September 2022 for Windows, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and other platforms, will be remembered as the last FIFA game to use the FIFA name.
