An increasing number of Battlefield 2042 fans who were lucky to get into the multiplayer shooter’s ongoing technical playtest have decided to share screenshots and videos of their experiences in the game despite being under a strict NDA.
Naturally, EA and DICE aren’t too happy about this and have dropped a few warnings that go so far as to suggest that playtesters who violate their agreements won’t be able to enjoy the final version of the game.
While it isn’t clear how the company would accomplish this beyond the usual means, EA Studios’ lead community manager Adam “PartWelsh” Freeman has left a couple of Twitter posts reminding Battlefield 2042 playtesters that if they continue to break the rules, they will lose access to the technical playtest, future EA tests, and, potentially, “access to 2042 itself when it releases.”...
