Comptoir Hardware has shared early benchmarks for the Intel Core i5-12400F that suggest the 6C/6T processor might offer a similar level of gaming performance as Intel’s previous flagship, the Core i9-11900K, as well as AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600X. The parity is exciting because this chip is speculated to cost around $200, making it substantially cheaper than red team’s Zen 3 option. AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600X processor is currently going for around $300 at major retailers.
