Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Begins Shooting in March

Does Obi-Wan still have the high ground? Star Wars fans may not have to wait too long to find out.



During a Zoom appearance on The Graham Norton Show (BBC), actor Ewan McGregor revealed that he would be stepping back into the boots of Obi-Wan Kenobi in March 2021 for the production of Lucasfilm’s new series, which will stream exclusively on Disney+.



“It’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi story, I suppose. It’s not all me, but it certainly…will be a lot of me, which is good,” McGregor told Norton. “We start shooting it in March next year.”



McGregor couldn’t share any plot details, but he did talk about how much he admired Alec Guinness, the legendary English actor who played the character in George Lucas’s...
