Forza Horizon 5 Draws Nearly 1 Million Players before Official Release

Forza Horizon 5 is poised to be a massive hit for Microsoft and developer Playground Games. This is according to the racer’s Hall of Fame leaderboard, which already comprises the stats of over 800,000 Xbox and PC users who purchased the Premium Edition and was granted the privilege of early access. Forza Horizon 5 does not officially release until this Tuesday, November 9.









VGC, which spotted the stats, has called Forza Horizon 5 “the first essential game of the generation,” echoing other publications that have published glowing reviews of the open-world racer:



This is the best Forza Horizon has ever been. […]As a racing game with open-world exploration at its heart, Forza Horizon 5 has far wider potential appeal, and has undoubtedly become the best Xbox has to offer. It remains to be seen if Halo Infinite will challenge this next month...

I've been really enjoying the game on pc. Put in a **** ton of hours from Friday morning on. No where near done with all of the events. And just finished unlocking them all.

Still not unlocked here, but looking forward to it.
 
I've seen streams of it on youtube, and it looks like NFS: Payback meets FH4. So that highly curtailed my excitment.

It's a more beautiful and capable fh4 but set in a more diverse region of the world. There are no police or chases at all.

Your impression here Is pretty off.
