I want to clone a SATA SSD into a M.2 SSD but I just can't boot from a USB stick so I can't use clonezilla.

Every "Free" cloning software I have found can't use the cloning part unless you buy.

Any suggestions?

Live Linux distro on a dvd and use dd?
I guess something went wrong with the live usb I created, it wouldn't boot on the NUC, but it booted on my PC. I created it again and now it works.
Tnx

I've used this a lot in the past. Even bought a business license at work.

It's easy to use and doesn't require booting to USB.

Macrium reflect. Also, most major brand SSDs come with cloning utilities.
