The Hollywood Reporter has learned that one of Matt Groening’s other classic and beloved animated sitcoms, Futurama, will be making a return nearly a decade after its seventh season as part of a new 20-episode run for streaming platform Hulu. Both Groening and co-creator David X. Cohen will be back for the revival set for premiere in 2023, as well as many of the show’s original stars, such as Billy West and Katey Sagal, who voiced Fry and Leela, respectively. Fans are also campaigning for John DiMaggio to return as Bender, but a deal doesn’t appear to have been finalized yet.
