I just find it amusing what passes for low CL RAM these days.

Back in the original DDR days we were using CL2, CL2.5 and CL3 sticks

Granted, back then the RAM was running at 200-400 MT/s, so a single CL was much longer than it is today, but still

The fun part is that DRAM, regardless of whatever 'speed' the modules run at, still hits at around 50ns to 100ns - same as it was when it was SDR SDRAM running at 66MHz and 100MHz.
