Those of you who still shop at GameStop may want to prepare for a bit of Xbox bias. The struggling retailer announced today that it had entered into a multiyear strategic partnership with Microsoft in order to improve its infrastructure, which will be enhanced with the help of the software giant’s cloud solutions and hardware products.



What this seems to boil down to is that GameStop employees will be able to do business with Surface devices, as well as Microsoft software such as Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams.



On the gaming side, GameStop has embraced Xbox All Access, a monthly payment plan for gamers who are on a tighter budget. The service includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass for immediate access to a great library of games.
