Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are not the only first-party Xbox games that are headed to PlayStation, according to games journalist Jeff Grubb, who claimed today during a new episode of his Giant Bomb show that Gears of War is also coming to Sony's rival consoles.

Honestly it isn't to generate sales but to show that MS is still publishing games for alternate consoles. They just leave out
(once we know we can make money on it. and just long enough to make enough people to buy an Xbox first.)

True. This is more about fending off an anti-trust lawsuit than anything I think. At least, as far as a console-centric decision where they went all in to get these studios just for exclusives, it makes zero sense to turn around and put them out on everything. The only thing that makes sense is placating regulators, at least for long enough for them to turn a blind eye again. Then we will start to see some of these things get locked back down.

Honestly, I'm surprised they don't just publish a Xbox Cloud Gaming app for the PS5/Switch and then claim their entire library is playable on any console.

Doesn't the xbox live gold give you the ability to stream games?

Live Gold I think is dead, it got merged into Xbox Game Pass, and Cloud gaming comes with Ultimate (not just the less expensive PC or console only version)

Anyway - supported platforms for Xbox Streaming (hint: none of the other consoles, and ironically the Xbox isn't listed either)
