A standalone, single-player expansion to Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 4 samurai epic, Ghost of Tsushima, is reportedly in development. According to XboxERA co-founder Shpeshal_Nick, the expansion is called Ghost of Ikishima and will be similar in vein to Insomniac’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: Lost Legacy expansions. Shpeshal_Nick hasn’t clarified which platforms Ghost of Ikishima will be released on, but it is believed to be a cross-gen title based on Sony’s strategy of bringing upcoming hits such as God of War: Ragnarok (the name of which is unconfirmed) and Horizon Forbidden West to both PS4 and PS5.

Ghosts of Ikishima. An Expandalone type game. Aiming for 2021. Not sure how so many seemed to find out so quick.— Nick (@Shpeshal_Nick)...

Standalone expansion. Means they want real money for it. So it will be a slightly different character in slightly different environment settings basically repeating the goals from the original. I loved GoT but I am not super enthusiastic about this.
