GIGABYTE Releases DRM Fix Tool for Resolving Gaming Issues on 12th Gen Intel Core Processors

GIGABYTE has released a DRM Fix Tool for Z690 motherboards that aims to boost the performance and resolve some of the DRM-related issues that 12th Gen Intel Core users may be experiencing when running certain titles on their Alder Lake processors. A direct link to the tool may be found here, but GIGABYTE has advised users to ensure that their motherboards have been updated to the latest BIOS version first to ensure compatibility. A list of GIGABYTE’s Z690 motherboards and their latest BIOS versions can be found on the company’s press release.

I'm just surprised there isn't a bios patch to address this in one fell swoop. Or an update from the DRM company. But no it seems that gigabyte figured this out first and has a software patch to address it in combination with a bios update. Probably auto disables the little cores for gaming.
