The PC version of Santa Monica Studio’s critically acclaimed action game, God of War, will feature support for not only NVIDIA’s performance-enhancing DLSS solution, but AMD’s as well. AMD has claimed that FidelityFX Super Resolution provides near-native resolution quality gaming.

Eh, I can see it. Playstation API uses a lot of tricks to keep the framerate up, like checkerboarding and 30fps caps, that you wouldn't want to bring over to the PC - where you know people are going to want to try out the game in 4K and beyond at much higher frame rates.

Adding something like DLSS or FFX is probably a lot easier than going back and redoing all the optimizations for the PC.
