Google is making steady progress toward its promise of bringing Android games to Windows PCs.
As spotted by ComputerBase, Google has officially launched the beta for Google Play Games, a new application that will allow users to play Android games on Windows systems.
While the beta is only available to select regions in Asia at the moment (Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan), Google has teased some of the features that Google Play Games users can expect through its website, which include benefits such as improved controls via keyboard and mouse and support for better hardware, enabling games with higher graphic settings and more.
Game progress is also synced in the cloud, so players can pick up where they left off regardless of the device.
