Google confirmed on Monday that it would be launching its new premium Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones this fall with a cutting-edge SoC developed entirely in-house called the Google Tensor.



Google Pixel fans who don’t need all of the power and advancements that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will bring should be happy to know that Google will also be launching a cheaper Pixel model called the Pixel 5A. And better yet, it’ll be available sooner than expected.



According to an exclusive report shared today by Front Page Tech, the Google Pixel 5A will cost $450 and be available for purchase beginning on Thursday, August 26th online and at physical Google Stores. The Pixel 5A is exclusive to the United States and Japanese markets and won’t be sold anywhere else.



Its predecessors, the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a with 5G, currently retail for $349...
