If you weren't impressed by Blizzard's Diablo IV outing, this one may be more up your alley. Grinding Gear Games kicked off ExileCon last night by announcing the sequel to its free online-only action RPG, Path of Exile 2, which utilizes an improved engine for richer graphics and physics.
The follow up will feature 19 new Ascendancy Classes and all-new equipment, as well as a revised Skill Gem System. No release date has been set yet, but a beta could come in late 2020.
Path of Exile 2 is a new seven-act storyline that is available alongside the original Path of Exile 1 campaign. Both the old and new storyline lead to the same shared Atlas endgame. Path of Exile 2 retains all expansion content that has been created over the last six years and introduces a new skill system, ascendancy classes, engine improvements and more.
