Half-Life fans may want to prepare for another exciting run against the alien Combine. According to a SteamDB entry spotted by users on the pcgaming subreddit, Valve is developing a remastered version of its iconic and unforgettable Half-Life sequel, Half-Life 2, which elevated the FPS genre with groundbreaking technologies such as advanced physics when it released all the way back on November 16, 2004. While the SteamDB entry doesn’t reveal too much about how the remastered collection might be improved, Valve insider Tyler McVicker has confirmed that the project exists and is being worked on by the team behind Half-Life 2: Update (a community-made mod) with Valve’s consent. Remastered versions of Half-Life 2’s episodic sequels, Episode One and Episode Two, will supposedly be included in the package as well.
