Halo Co-Creator’s Disintegration Studio, V1 Interactive, Closes Its Doors

V1 Interactive, the fledgling game development studio founded by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, is closing its doors. The company confirmed the disappointing news on its official Twitter account today, which now includes a tweet thanking the staff for their contributions over the last few years. Lehto founded V1 Interactive only five years ago after quitting Bungie in 2012 for crunch and other reasons.



“We are sad to inform you that V1 Interactive is officially closing,” the developer tweeted. “We want to thank all the talented people at V1, both past and present, who helped make the last 5 years wonderful. And a heartfelt thanks to the amazing community that supported us.”
