Microsoft and 343 Industries have decided to celebrate Xbox and the Halo franchise’s 20th anniversary today by releasing Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer component early. Contrary to earlier rumors, this is just the beta, but it appears to include everything that was planned for the final build, such as all maps and Season 1 content. Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer Beta is now available to everyone with an Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and/or Windows PC.
