PC is a bit different than porting God of War to Xbox Console though.

Microsoft doesn't get a cut via console licensing by going to PC. They get a healthy cut going to Xbox console.

I guess you could try to say that Microsoft gets the Windows license sale.. but they don't get that for each and every game that gets sold for Windows, whereas a console manufacturer does get it for each and every game ported and sold for a console.
