Horizon Forbidden West fans have begun pointing out somewhat of an obvious but welcome loophole that allows PlayStation 5 owners to grab the next-generation version of Guerrilla Games’ highly anticipated sequel at a $10 discount ahead of its release on February 18. While the PS4 version of the game isn’t available through PS5’s built-in store, users can still easily purchase it either through the PS4’s store app or by visiting the PlayStation Store via a web browser. The PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West, which costs $59.99 instead of $69.99, includes a free upgrade to the PS5 edition of the game...

Stupid of Sony to do this in the first place. They were gonna charge $10 for the PS5 upgrade if you bought the PS4 version, but relented after a lot of pushback. And they left the PS5 price there... I'm sure it will generate them some more money, just because you don't have the option if you are browsing the store from a PS5... but it's retarded -- because it's available and you could do this if you log in via the web interface rather than going through the store. I hate anti-consumer crap like this.

That said, I'm not buying any more games on Playstation until I can get my hands on a PS5. This may be on the PS Classics/Hits list by that time, and only $20 ($30 for the PS5 edition, I'm sure :confused:)
