Starting at $39,900, the Cybertruck doesn’t come cheap, but Mattel has the answer(s) for Tesla fans who don’t have that kind of disposable cash.
The toy giant has begun selling small-scale, remote-control versions of the Cybertruck under its Hot Wheels brand. There’s two models – a smaller, 1:64 scale Cybertruck that costs $20, and a limited-edition, 1:10 scale version priced at $400.
That seems like a lot of money to spend on a toy, but the 1:10 Cybertruck is already sold out on Mattel’s website. It’s got functioning headlights and tail lights, all-wheel drive “Chill” and “Sport” modes for taking the car up to 250 mph scale speed, a Tonneau “Vault”...
