The performance of Intel’s most powerful Xe-HPG “DG2” graphics card will sit somewhere between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080. This is according to YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead, who shared images today of an engineering sample at multiple angles, as well as a slide that includes some of the GPU’s purported specifications. Intel’s flagship gaming card will supposedly boast 512 Execution Units, a clock speed of 2.2 GHz, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory over a 256-bit bus, and a TDP of 275 watts. Moore’s believes that the GPU won’t debut until Q4 2021 at the earliest.
