Intel 11th Gen Core i9-11900K Outperforms AMD Ryzen 9 5950X by 13 Percent on Geekbench Single-Core Benchmarks

Three new benchmark listings for Intel’s 11th Gen Core i9-11900K “Rocket Lake-S” processor have appeared on Geekbench. The flagship CPU managed to score over 1,900 points in two (1, 2) of the single-core tests, which is quite impressive being that no other chip has managed to do so on Geekbench. And while AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X currently sits at the top of the single-core benchmark rankings with a score of 1,689, that number is around 13 percent slower than what Intel’s i9-11900K can supposedly do in the single-core department.



The new benchmarks for Intel’s 11th Gen Core i9-11900K also suggest that the chip is a massive improvement over its predecessor. Geekbench has...
