Intel had teased that its 11th Gen Core “Rocket Lake-S” processors would boast a significant IPC uplift thanks to improvements in the Cypress Cove architecture. A new CPU-Z screenshot shared on BiliBili (via HXL) suggests that the company wasn’t exaggerating, as the Core i9-11900K can evidently perform well enough to score 695.4 in the popular benchmark’s single-thread test.



That score happens to be quite a bit faster than what its predecessor can muster. Intel’s Core i9-10900K is currently listed with a single-thread score of 584, which is around 19 percent slower than its Rocket Lake-S sibling. The Core...
