Intel has shared a new video that demonstrates how its super sampling technology, XeSS, can upscale a 1080p image into a 4K one with arguably beautiful results. The game used in this demo is a beta build of EXOR Studios’ The Riftbreaker, a base-building survival game that was released on October 14, 2021. Viewers should ensure that the 4K stream is enabled to see what XeSS can supposedly do.

I'm very confused who this is supposed to impress when they aren't comparing 4K to XeSS 4K

Also 1080p zoomed in looks way better than this - whoever encoded/edited the video made it look worse than it should.

It may as well be the 4K side in that video.

I just wish Intel would release the cards so we can whine that we can't find, and or, afford one.
