This could be cool as I understand it TB share should work with USB4 as well because that is effectively TB 4 right?

Other way around - USB4 is a subset of TB4. Full 'TB4'-level functionally is optional beyond the base USB4 spec.

A telling point would be a comparison between Intel's TB4 controller and Realtek's USB4 controller.
