Intel Doubles 14 Nm and 10 Nm Manufacturing Capacity

Intel has released a promotional video that traces its multiyear journey toward doubling its combined 14 nm and 10 nm manufacturing capacity. The company accomplished this primarily via yield improvement projects and investments in capacity expansion, but the expansion also relied on the repurposing of preexisting space such as labs and offices.

YES Join the dark side make more **** CPU's that can't compete, and claim that they don't care about benchmarks. Yes... invest more in old tech while it's cheap to crank out more CPU's cheaper! Take the price point competition point... you know that one AMD was king of 10 years ago.

Word on the street is Intel is a bit toast (as in its business model) this would mean AMD is also in for pain as its will be competing for a declining market.
AMD has cultivated more the semi custom and custom aspects of the products they make, with Xilinx being part of it makes sense.
