Intel had promised that its Arc A770 Graphics Limited Edition Graphics Card would be available in "Summer 2022," but with yesterday being the final day of the warmer season, the company has officially missed the deadline that it had set for its special GPU.

To be fair, Intel promised Arc in Q1 2022, actually, even before that. They've missed SEVERAL quarters that add up. It's at least a year late at this point.

Yeah,

I happen to be a fan of the good old John Carmack "when it's done" principle.

I mean, at some point you have to prepare the channel for something that is coming, but keep your internal dates close to your chest, and only make public announcements when you are really ready.
