Intel has confirmed that it and its partners are continuing to investigate user reports regarding instability issues on its 13th and 14th Gen Core (K/KF/KS) desktop processors, and with it comes a confirmation that one of the contributing factors is elevated voltage input to the processor due to BIOS settings, which could lead to the CPUs operating at turbo frequencies and voltages even at a high temperature.

They're even worried about the i5 chips now. Interesting.

Thankfully I haven't had any issues with my chips. Even back when I had a 13900K everything was fine, and now with a 14700K with the latest bios for my motherboard still no issues. I don't get into tweaking every setting in the bios like I used to, so I just enable XMP and that's about it. Everything has been stable in all games I play.
