It appears that blue team made a killer acquisition this week. On Wednesday, Intel announced that it had purchased Rivet Networks, the company behind the Killer Networking brand of low-latency, gaming-focused Ethernet and Wi-Fi products. Intel’s acquisition was primarily motivated by the latter, as it seeks to bolster its wireless offerings for PC platforms.
