Intel Reportedly Taking Aim at NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT with Arc Alchemist GPUs

Intel is reportedly targeting the performance of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3070 and AMD’s Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards with its upcoming 175- to 225-watt Alchemist GPUs. The claim comes from leaker Greymon55, who supposedly has a slide from Intel that offers insight on select SKUs and lists some of the products that Arc graphics cards were designed to compete against.



“Intel’s slide shows that 175-225w SKUs compete with 6700xt and 3070,” Greymon55 tweeted.



If what is claimed of these mystery slides is true, […] we would have a better idea as to what sort of performance, and performance-per-watt, we can expect out of the top-end Intel Alchemist graphics cards.The RTX 3070 is listed with a TDP of 220W, so that would put Intel on relatively even footing in terms of performance-per-watt at the high-end.
