Intel could be prepping a cheaper 10-core processor for those who think the Core i9-10900K is too expensive. Multiple entries for a “Core i9-10850K” have appeared on GeekBench (via APISAK), which allude to a lower-cost variant with a slightly lower maximum boost clock: 5.2 GHz, just 100 MHz lower than the current flagship (the i9-10900K can hit 5.3 GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost).

Wake me up before you go go...

Seriously... May be interesting if it is cost comparative with a R9 3700x. otherwise it won't even be that. I have a 3900x and if I was in the market knowing I can get a 4k generation of chip for my same system without swapping anything but the chip is huge.
