Kratos’ Voice Actor Christopher Judge Says He’s to Blame for God of War: Ragnarok’s Delay to 2022

God of War: Ragnarok would be released for PlayStation consoles this year if it wasn’t for Christopher Judge. That’s according to the voice actor behind Kratos, who revealed in a series of tweets today that the game was delayed due to injuries that he had suffered during its development back in 2019. Judge had to undergo major surgeries that included getting his hips replaced, which resulted in Santa Monica Studio having to push God of War: Ragnarok to 2022.



“I need to be forthcoming,” Judge tweeted. “This has been approved by no one. To the beloved fandom, Ragnarok was delayed because of me. August 2019, I couldn’t walk. Had to have back surgery, both hips replaced, and, knee surgery. They waited for me too rehab…”
