Latest Windows 11 Insider Build Includes Fixes for Slow File Explorer Performance, Many Other Issues

One of the recurring complaints that Windows 11 users (or beta testers, as some critics have been calling them) have had regarding Microsoft’s new operating system is poor performance in the new File Explorer, which features a cleaner interface and design thanks to the Windows UI Library (WinUI) but slower, laggier navigation versus its Windows 10 counterpart.



This issue has been fixed to some degree, according to the changelog for the latest build of Windows 11 released last week, which includes a bullet point suggesting improved performance while browsing and selecting files in the new File Explorer. Windows 11 Build 22000.466 also includes plenty of welcome fixes for other issues, such as select image editors not rendering colors correctly on HDR displays and VPN profiles disappearing.

You knownwhat Microsoft needs to fix. Their **** *** cloud hosted outlook 365 interface that checks every **** thing vs their cloud which is super freaking laggy. I am so tired of clicking to look at a text only email and having outlook hang while it waits for the azure cloud hosted exchange server to make sure I can see what I should have already downloaded locally!!!!

Worse yet it does the same thing in outlook for Android and ios!!
