Microsoft has updated its Windows 11 known issues and notifications page with a new problem that might annoy graphic artists and other professionals who have upgraded to the new operating system and are using certain displays.
As detailed at the top of the known issues section, one of the latest problems that Windows 11 users might face is an issue whereby image editing programs might not render colors correctly. The problem affects applications using Win32 APIs and is seemingly limited to certain HDR displays.
“After installing Windows 11, some image editing programs might not render colors correctly on certain HDR displays,” Microsoft wrote. “This is frequently observed with white colors, which could display in bright yellow or other colors.”
