According to a now-deleted tweet from Netflix’s Portugal branch (via Gematsu), Resident Evil fans are getting a brand-new CGI movie called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. You can check out the teaser trailer below, which confirms the return of franchise staples Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
Unfortunately, the footage doesn’t tell us anything about where the story might be headed. It’s also unclear when the film takes place in relation to Capcom’s previous animated features – Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008), Resident Evil: Damnation (2012), and Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) – but Infinite Darkness should be an enjoyable ride for Resident Evil 2 fans who are fresh...
