LG has announced that its latest UltraGear gaming monitor, the 27GN750, is now available for purchase at dealers for an MSRP of $399.

This is a Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with a speedy refresh rate of 240 Hz and 99 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. It also supports HDR10 for a more dynamic picture, as well as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility and Adaptive Sync for tear-free gameplay.

Most gamers have moved on to 1440p or greater displays, but high-refresh 1080p panels are still relevant for scenarios that prioritize frame rates, such as competitive gaming.

That's cool. I just didn't see much of a difference going from 144 to 240 as I did going from 60 to 144. I've had friends over and let them blind test some games on my Acer 24" 1080P 240hz and my Aorus 27" 1440P 144hz. They actually preferred the Aorus.

After having gone from a BenQ 144 Hz monitor to a Acer 240 Hz model I think there is a difference but it is so small that I wouldn't think it's worth it to move on from a quality 144 Hz screen.

I do prefer the higher frame rates tho over higher resolution and DPI. That smooth motion is hard to beat which is weird because I hate watching movies or TV shows at 120 Hz. But for games I can't go back to anhtbkng less.
