Lower your Alder Lake cpu temp by 5 degrees with this 1 easy trick....

I've looked into this and I'm not certain that it's necessary. There isn't a lot of information out there but it may come down to the design of specific LGA 1700 CPU retention mechanisms. Also, most of the cooling options for LGA 1700 CPU's are designs for LGA 115x CPU's which have simply been adapted to LGA 1700 mounting mechanisms but weren't expressly designed for the newer CPU's.
