The developers behind No Man’s Sky have given Mass Effect fans an excellent reason to delve into the procedurally generated space-survival title if they haven’t already. As part of a new expedition dubbed Beachhead, players can seek out and acquire Commander Shepard’s iconic Systems Alliance starship, the SSV Normandy SR-1, and add it to their collection of Frigates for tackling various missions. No Man’s Sky players have until May 31 to complete the Beachhead expedition to acquire the SR-1.
We are thrilled and flattered that BioWare and EA let us pay tribute in this way. As huge fans of the series, it’s a lovely moment for sci-fi fans.
